Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Does anybody remember Shellie Long from Hillcrest? She emailed me this recipe a few months ago and I finally got around to making it. So easy and so good! Her blog is hilarious- http://seriouslyshellie.com. If you ever need a good laugh, that's the place to go!


Pulled Pork Sandwiches

3 (or so) lbs. pork sirloin roast
1 can root beer (I used half of a two liter....)
1 bottle Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce in Original flavor (Yes, it has to be Sweet Baby Ray's!)

Put pork roast in your slow cooker. Pour root beer over roast and cook on low 5-6 hours. (I cooked mine on high for 4 hours.) Drain root beer and shred meat with fork. Pour BBQ sauce over meat and let warm back up in slow cooker. Serve on grilled hamburger buns.
