Grammas Rolls

1 can evaporated Milk
3 Tbsp yeast in 1 cup warm water
3 eggs
3/4 cups sugar
2 1/2 tsp. salt

Stir all together with wire whisk. Add 6-8 cups flour. Add 5 cups first to see where the dough is at. Add flour until the dough is smooth. Cover and let rise to top of bowl. Soften 1 cube of butter or margarine.

Roll all the dough out 1/4" to 1/2" thick; smear butter all over; Fold dough in half, cover with butter; fold dough in half, again cover with butter, turn dough over and cover with butter. Cut with round cutter ( a glass works great), dip bottom of roll in oil and stand on edge in muffin tin. Let rise. Bake 400 degrees till brown 5-7 minutes. Makes 5 dozen -- (These rolls can be put in the muffin tins-- frozen-- thawed, raise and baked!)

These are my very favorite part of Holidays-- They are a buttery layer roll -- and they are delicious!
